I had a pretty unconventional introduction to photography. While I was in school for game design, one of my roommates owned a DSLR. I picked it up, took a few test shots, and that was it—I was hooked. From there, I started shooting anything and everything we were doing, just to see what I could capture.

About a year later, I bought my own camera with a tax return and committed to shooting as often as possible. As my confidence grew, I started working with models, asking friends to collaborate, and pushing myself creatively. I haven’t really slowed down since.

Not long after, I stepped into video—and for the past eight years, storytelling has been at the heart of my work. Video gave me a new way to capture moments, emotion, and narrative, and that approach naturally found its way back into my photography as well.
